Armelle SABATIER is a Lecturer in Languages at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, specializing in Early Modern Literature (theater and poetry), Shakespeare, visual culture, color symbolism, intermediality, and intersections of law with aesthetics and literature. She earned her HDR (accreditation to direct research) at University of Paris Cité's LARCA Laboratory (2021) and holds a doctorate from University of Paris X Nanterre (2005). Her research explores Renaissance stagecraft, legal narratives, and sensory dimensions in literature.

She organizes international seminars on Shakespearean themes and law-humanities interfaces, including panels at ESRA and SAES congresses.
SABATIER contributes to editorial projects (Routledge) and academic governance as a CNU member and HCERES committee expert. Her work bridges literary analysis with legal discourse, focusing on Renaissance Europe's cultural and ideological frameworks.
