Armands Leitāns

Armands Leitāns is a Researcher and Ph.D. candidate at Riga Technical University's Faculty of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. He leads the Tribology Scientific Laboratory and is part of the Material Surface Characterization and Tribology Research Group. With over 10 years of research experience reflected in 30+ publications, his work focuses on tribological properties of solid materials, surface coatings, and lubricants.

His academic activities include teaching courses in Electropneumatic Engineering, General Metrology, and Industrial Measurements. He has supervised and defended 7 bachelor's theses since 2014.
