Dr. Arjan Keizer is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, specializing in comparative human resource management and industrial relations. His research focuses on Japan, the UK, and other countries across Europe and Asia, examining institutional change, labour market segmentation, and globalization's impact on employment systems. He holds editorial roles at Frontiers in Sociology and has contributed to influential policy debates on migrant labor and precarious work.
Education: PhD in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands).
Professional Experience: Research fellowships at Hitotsubashi University (Japan) and the Japan Institute for Labour Policy and Training; visiting roles at Canon Inc. (Japan) and Bradford University School of Management.
