Arjan Blokland

Arjan Blokland is a Professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice at Leiden University's Institute of Criminal Law and Criminology, appointed since 2010. His career includes prior roles as a police officer (Rotterdam-Rijnmond, until 1996) and researcher at the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement (NSCR). He holds a PhD (cum laude, 2005) from Utrecht University.
