Ariyo Adanikin

Ariyo Adanikin is a Lecturer in the Department of Engineering and Mathematics at Sheffield Hallam University, part of the College of Business, Technology and Engineering. His teaching focuses on civil engineering, railway engineering, and project management, with an emphasis on bridging theory and practice for student success. He holds a PhD and MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering, an MBA in Strategic Management, and a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering, and is a Fellow of the Advance HE.

His research interests span transportation planning, materials analysis, construction management, pavement evaluation, traffic engineering, rail infrastructure lifecycle analysis, statistical modeling, accident analysis, and intelligent transportation systems. He has published extensively on topics such as ASR suppression in concrete, GIS-based traffic analysis, and sustainable construction materials.
