Aristea S. Galanopoulou

Aristea S. Galanopoulou is a Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, holding dual appointments in the Saul R. Korey Department of Neurology (Pediatric Neurology) and the Dominick P. Purpura Department of Neuroscience. She specializes in developmental neurology and epilepsy, with a focus on antiepileptogenic therapies and mechanisms underlying pediatric epilepsies. Her work integrates preclinical research, clinical translation, and interdisciplinary collaborations to advance treatments for catastrophic early-life epilepsies and post-traumatic epilepsy.
