Apurva Narayan

Dr. Apurva Narayan is an Assistant Professor at Western University, with joint appointments in the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering. He leads the Intelligent Data Science Lab (IDSL), which trains students across Western University, the University of British Columbia (UBC), and the University of Waterloo (UW). He also holds affiliate and adjunct positions at UBC and UW, respectively.

• Defense mechanisms against AI vulnerabilities
• Reinforcement learning applications

The IDSL lab bridges intelligent systems, data science, and decision-making under uncertainty. Dr. Narayan's research interests also extend to earth observation, exploration technologies, and remote health monitoring.
