April Macaraeg is a Professor at Southwestern Law School and Co-Director of the Negotiation Honors Program. She joined the institution in 2015 and teaches courses such as Negotiation Honors. Her expertise focuses on legal practice, dispute resolution, and negotiation strategies.

Professor Macaraeg’s career includes roles as a trial attorney in personal injury firms, staff attorney at a nonprofit, and associate attorney in employment law. She founded Macaraeg Law and currently guides students in national competitions, such as the ABA National Negotiation Competition, where her teams have achieved success.
Advising & Achievements:
- Student advisees include Vanessa Barnett, Tamar Chobanian, Allyn Davidson, and Samantha Dennis, who won the 2020 ABA National Championship under her mentorship.
