Dr. April M. Ballard is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Health in the Department of Populations Health Sciences at Georgia State University School of Public Health and an adjunct faculty member at Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. Her research focuses on health disparities and equity in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), employing mixed methods to study the impact of social and environmental conditions on health outcomes for vulnerable populations including children, women, and the homeless.
