Dr. April Dye is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Chair of the Psychology Department at Carson-Newman University, where she also serves as Director of the Honors Program. She holds a B.A. from the University of Tennessee and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Miami University of Ohio. Her academic focus spans social psychology, personality, and gender psychology. Her research explores stereotyping, stigma, and identity development, particularly regarding gender and Appalachian populations.
