April Anson

April Anson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on American ecofascism, climate change, and Indigenous studies, with a particular emphasis on environmental humanities and 19th-century American literature. She also explores intersections of political theory, race, and settler colonialism in cultural production.

Her work bridges literary analysis and sociopolitical critique, examining themes such as ecofascist rhetoric, Indigenous sovereignty, and the legacy of colonialism.
