Anđela Tošić is a researcher at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. Since May 2022, she has been a trainee researcher ("pripravnik") at the university. Her academic journey includes international training at the University+ 2023 PBPK SummerCamp-Gastroplus and the 6th European Summer School on Drug Development.
- Education: BSc in Pharmacy (University of Belgrade, 2021) | PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology (enrolled 2021)
Research Focus: Neuroimmune mechanisms in psychiatric disorders, computational pharmacokinetic modeling, and drug development targeting GABAA/σ2 receptors using nano- and hiPSC-based platforms. She has participated in EU-funded early drug development training programs.
Collaborations: Member of the research team for the "NanoCellEmoCog" project funded by the Serbian Science Fund since January 2024. Previously completed internships at medical institutions including the Institute for Mother and Child Dr. Vukan Čupić.
