Anyan Qi is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at the Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) at the University of Texas at Dallas. He coordinates the PhD Area in Operations Management and holds dual bachelor's degrees in Automation and Economics from Tsinghua University, along with a PhD in Technology and Operations from the University of Michigan.
His research focuses on socially responsible operations, strategic procurement, and capacity management in modern supply chains, utilizing game theory, behavioral experiments, and data-driven optimization. His work addresses sustainability, human-machine collaboration, and dynamic resource allocation.
Recent publications in Management Science and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management highlight his contributions to procurement networks, behavioral automation, and collaborative project dynamics. He serves as Associate Editor for Management Science and Decision Sciences, and as Senior Editor for Production and Operations Management.
