Dr. Anya Radkovskaya is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the College of Engineering Science. Previously, she served as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Physics at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). Her research focuses on metamaterials, magnetoinductive waves, and their applications, with a career spanning over 25 years. She has contributed over 120 publications and holds an h-index of 14.
Education: Specialist Diploma in Physics (with highest honours) from MSU (1990), PhD in Physics (1994).
Research interests include metamaterials with strong inter-element coupling, magnetoinductive wave applications, magnetism of low-dimensional systems, and antennas. She has pioneered work on MI waves and collaborated internationally, including with the Royal Society and Metaboards Ltd, an Oxford spinout company.
Publications highlight contributions to metamaterial theory and experimentation, with notable work on superdirectivity and coupled meta-atoms. Her research bridges theoretical and experimental domains, influencing fields from RF engineering to nanomaterials.
