Her studies explore the cultural adaptation of healthcare interventions (e.g., Nepali translations of pain screening tools), barriers to outcome measurement in LMICs, and psychological factors influencing chronic pain. She emphasizes cross-cultural and low-literacy contexts in her work.
Publications: Recent studies highlight her contributions to pain management strategies, such as analyzing low back pain across 32 countries and validating tools like the STarT Back Screening Tool in Nepal. Her work also addresses economic evaluations of healthcare interventions and the role of sleep disturbance in pediatric chronic pain.
Labs/Teams: Affiliated with the Sydney Centre for Healthy Societies, her research aligns with interdisciplinary efforts to address systemic health challenges.
