Anu Sharma is a Professor in the Department of Speech Language and Hearing Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. She also serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Otolaryngology and Audiology at the University of Colorado Denver Medical School. Her research focuses on brain plasticity in individuals with hearing loss, particularly those using hearing aids and cochlear implants. Since 2001, her work has been supported by grants from the U.S. National Institutes of Health. She holds a PhD and is affiliated with the Institute for Cognitive Science and Center for Neuroscience at CU Boulder. Beyond academia, she enjoys trail running, climbing Colorado’s fourteeners, yoga, and spending time with her family.
