Dr. Antony Vinh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology at La Trobe University, affiliated with the School of Agriculture, Biomedicine and Environment. His research focuses on the interplay between the immune system, inflammation, and cardiovascular diseases, particularly hypertension, kidney damage, and vascular dysfunction. He holds a PhD from Monash University (2008) and has extensive postdoctoral experience at Emory University's Division of Cardiology. Dr. Vinh leads the Hypertension and Diabetes Division within the Centre for Cardiovascular Biology and Disease Research (CCBDR), investigating novel therapeutic and diagnostic approaches for cardiovascular disorders.
