Antony Card

Dr. Antony Card is the Dean of Education at Mount Saint Vincent University, holding a Professor academic rank. His career spans pre-service teacher education, health education, and policy development for youth health in schools.

Research Interests: Focuses on health and physical education, health promoting schools, and social/emotional development of Qalipu First Nation youth. His work includes creating Core Indicators and Measures of Physical Activity and collaborating with policymakers across Canada.

Editorial Role: Managing Editor of Revue phénEPS / PHEnex Journal, covering physical education, health, and recreation studies.

Professional Affiliations: Serves on the Board of Directors for Physical and Health Education Canada, led Healthy School Communities Initiatives, and participated in Council of University Researchers and Professors (CUPR) and CCUPEKA.

Education: BPE (Hons) from University of Bedfordshire, and Master/Doctoral degrees in Education from University of Southampton (UK).
