He holds a PhD (dr. sc.) in Forestry and an MSc (mag. ing. silv.) from the same institution. His research focuses on dendroflora, population genetics, morphological/chemical variability of plant populations, and conservation biology.
Dr. Vidaković has been affiliated with the Faculty since 2019, teaching courses such as Dendrology for undergraduate forestry and urban forestry programs, and foundational dendrology for wood technology students. He actively contributes to the Dendroherbarium (herbariumdend.html), a key resource for Croatian flora studies.

He publishes extensively in plant systematics, genetics, and ecology, with notable contributions to Pyrus, Castanea, and Juniperus species research. His studies often integrate morphometric analysis, chemical composition, and genetic diversity assessments.
