Antonio PISTELLATO is a Lecturer at the Department of Humanities of Ca' Foscari University of Venice, specializing in classical studies and Roman history. Holding a PhD in "Ancient History and Archaeology, History of Art" (2007), his academic journey includes fellowships at University College London, Paris X-Nanterre, and Pavia's Cedant Centre. Since 2009, he has alternated research and teaching roles at Ca' Foscari, currently offering Latin language courses and classical studies for the School for International Education (SIE).

His research focuses on Roman epigraphic memory, historiography circulation, and digital humanities, particularly forged epigraphs. His publications analyze Cassius Dio's political narratives, Latin poetic metrics, and textual authenticity issues.
