Antonio Amengual Colom

Dr. Antonio Amengual Colom is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics at the University of the Balearic Islands, specializing in Applied Physics since 1993. He has held significant administrative roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Sciences from January 2012 to February 2019, and has been instrumental in academic governance as an assistant dean and director of Physics bachelor's degrees.

His teaching portfolio spans diverse programs, including:

• Vector Calculus for Physics students
• Industrial Hygiene for Occupational Risk Prevention master's students
• Applied Physics in Health Sciences for Physiotherapy students
• Mechanics for Food and Agriculture Engineering students

As a member of the Materials Physics (FISMAT) research group, he focuses on material properties, mechanics, and thermal measurement techniques.
