Dr. Antonia Lakner is a researcher at the Department of History, University of Tübingen. Her work focuses on cultural and social history of the Roman Empire, Jewish history in antiquity, political culture of the imperial era, and urban development in the Roman East. She is affiliated with the Historisch-Philologischen Kommentar zur Chronik des Johannes Malalas project at the Heidelberger Akademie der Wissenschaften.
