Mischa Meier is a full Professor at the University of Tübingen, affiliated with the Faculty of Philosophy and Department of History. His research spans Ancient History, focusing on Sparta, Late Antiquity (4th–7th centuries), and the Ostrogothic Reich, with special interests in ethnological approaches, historical disaster research, and the reception of antiquity in music and literature.
