Anton Kuerti is a renowned pianist, composer, and educator associated with the University of Toronto, where he held roles including Associate Professor (1968–1972), Pianist-in-Residence, and Artist-in-Residence until 1989. His teaching legacy includes students such as Jane Coop and Yuval Fichman. Born in Vienna (1938), he studied at institutions like the Cleveland Institute and Curtis Institute, with mentors including Rudolf Serkin and Arthur Loesser.
