معرفی
Professor Antoine Jérusalem is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oxford and a Fellow at St Hugh's College. His research focuses on computational modeling of materials, including metals, composite materials, and the multiphysics of neurons and the brain, with applications in Ultrasound Neuromodulation and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). He holds affiliate researcher status at the Mathematical Institute and co-directs the International Brain Mechanics and Trauma Lab.
Education:
- Diplôme d'Ingénieur from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace, 2004
- MSc in Aeronautics and Astronautics, MIT, 2004
- PhD in Computational Mechanics of Materials, MIT, 2007
He previously served as Group Leader of the Computational Mechanics of Materials Group at IMDEAMaterials (2008–2012). His work integrates advanced numerical techniques and involves global collaborations in biomedical engineering and materials science. He leads research initiatives such as the IMAD2025 event with the ZERO Institute ECR network.
Awards:
- Fellow of St Hugh's College, University of Oxford
Advising & Labs:
He mentors DPhil students in creative gameplay design and neuromodulation. His labs include the Oxford e-Research Centre and the International Brain Mechanics and Trauma Lab, focusing on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of engineering and neuroscience.
