Anthony Weke

Anthony Weke is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Northumbria University's Nursing Midwifery and Health Department. He holds a PhD in Population Health Sciences from Newcastle University (2024) and previously completed an MSc in Public Health and Health Services Research (2019) and a BSc in Nursing Science (2016) from the University of Ghana. His research focuses on tobacco harm reduction, electronic cigarette regulation, and oral health interventions, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being. Weke has authored peer-reviewed articles in journals like British Dental Journal and Community Dental Health, emphasizing dental professionals' role in smoking cessation and public health policy.
