Anthony Saunders is the John M. Schiff Professor of Finance at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where he has taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses since 1978. He served as Chairman of the Department of Finance from 1995-2006 and remains an active member of the faculty. Professor Saunders received his Ph.D. in Economics/Finance from the London School of Economics in 1981, following an M.S. (1972) and B.S. (1971) from the same institution.
