Dr. Anthony Herdman is an Associate Professor at the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences, University of British Columbia. He is also an Affiliate Investigator at the BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute and a member of the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health.
- Research focuses on brain dynamics of auditory/visual perception, attention, and language using EEG/MEG
- Developed open-source tools: SimMEEG (neuroimaging simulation), SimHERA, and SimHBA (educational software)
- Collaborates with BC Early Hearing Program and Alberta Health Services for infant hearing diagnostics
- Founder of Brain Camp for Kids, a neuroscience outreach initiative
