Anthony Glendinning is an Emeritus Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen's School of Social Science. With a consistent publication record since 1992 and an impact rating of 23.9, his research spans young people's studies, education, health and wellbeing, rural society, social policy, religion and politics, and police reform in cultural contexts.
His recent collaborative publications include work on land-use changes in China's urbanization processes, sectarianism in the Scottish labor market, and challenges faced by 'land-lost' farmers in China. Glendinning's research employs sociological approaches to examine contemporary social issues across different cultural contexts.
