Anthony Francis is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Physics, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. His research focuses on Lattice Field Theory, particularly applying high-performance computing for non-perturbative calculations in particle and nuclear physics. Notable contributions include predicting the existence of heavy tetraquark states confirmed experimentally at CERN (2019–2020) and pioneering work on the muon magnetic moment (g-2 factor). He has held positions at CERN, York University, and the Albert Einstein Center.
Education: Ph.D. in Physics from Bielefeld University, Germany.
Research interests emphasize lattice QCD applications in understanding fundamental particle interactions, including tetraquarks, dark matter theories, and early universe nucleosynthesis. His work bridges computational physics with experimental validations, earning him a 2019 plenary talk invitation at the International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory.
Key collaborations include studies at CERN and contributions to high-impact journals like Physical Review D and Journal of High Energy Physics.
