Anthony Fattibene is a Lecturer of American Sign Language (ASL) at Clemson University, affiliated with the Department of Languages within the College of Arts and Humanities. He also serves as an adjunct ASL Instructor at Tri-County Technical College and has tutored ASL students at Clemson University and the University of Tennessee. Holding a Master of Science in Graphic Communications (2019) from Clemson and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design (1996) from Gallaudet University, his expertise bridges ASL education and graphic design. He is pursuing ASLTA certification and actively participates in professional organizations such as the South Carolina American Sign Language Teachers Association (SCASLTA) and the South Carolina Association of the Deaf (SCAD).
His professional development includes specialized training in ASL linguistics, Deaf culture, and ASL literature from Gallaudet University. Anthony designs educational materials, including logos and flyers for ASL-related organizations and events. He emphasizes cultural immersion in his teaching, fostering a supportive environment for students exploring ASL and Deaf communities. Beyond academia, he is an avid advocate for Deaf cultural awareness and maintains strong ties with the Clemson alumni community.
