Anthony Barlow

Anthony Barlow is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Convenor for the BA Primary Education QTS programme at the University of Roehampton's School of Education, where he also serves as subject leader for Geography Education. His work focuses on initial teacher education and curriculum development.

Research Interests: Barlow's research examines pupils' understanding of their locality and built environment, environmental education focusing on oceans and plastic waste, and the integration of geographical concepts in early years education. He emphasizes curriculum development, field studies, and child-centered learning approaches.
