Anthony Auletta is an Instructional Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Coordinator in the Entomology and Nematology Department at the University of Florida. His role focuses on teaching, developing Course-Based Undergraduate Research Experiences (CUREs) in entomology, and undergraduate advising. He emphasizes fostering student appreciation for arthropods through collaborative research and career guidance.
Prior research interests included comparative neurobiology of arachnids, biogenic amines in spiders and scorpions, and group dynamics in subsocial arthropods like huntsman spiders and Amblypygi. Though currently without a formal research appointment at UF, he supports student research inquiries.
