Assoc. Prof. Ante Galić, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Agriculture, specializing in Agricultural Engineering within the Department of Sustainable Technologies and Renewable Energy Sources. His academic journey includes a PhD in Biotechnology (2014) and BSc in Food Technology (2007).

Research focuses on transport systems in agriculture, thermal/refrigeration technology, automation, and renewable energy applications. His work spans hydroponic cultivation, antioxidant analysis in aronia, and market-unacceptable crop processing for animal feed.
Key projects include coordinating Croatian Science Foundation's nettle nutrition study (2020-2024), EU Horizon's autonomous robotic system development (2020-2023), and European Social Fund teaching enhancement initiatives (2020-2023). He has held multiple research coordination roles since 2007.
