Ansgar Nünning is a Professor of English and American Literature and Cultural Studies at the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen since 1996. He is the founding director of the Giessen Graduate School for the Humanities and the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC), and serves as academic director of the International PhD Program (IPP) 'Literary and Cultural Studies'.
