Annina Boogen

Dr. Annina Boogen is a Senior Lecturer at the Center for Energy and Environment within the School of Management and Law at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). She holds a Doctor of Science degree in Energy Science and Technology from ETH Zurich and serves as Associate Editor for environmental journals.

• PhD in Energy Science and Technology (ETH Zurich, 2012-2016)
• Master in Transdisciplinarity in and with the Arts (ZHdK, 2017-2020)
• Master in Energy Science and Technology (ETH Zurich, 2009-2011)

Her research focuses on environmental economics, behavioral energy economics, and transdisciplinary energy transition approaches. Key projects include Living Labs Interfaces for Energy Transition, Positive Energy District Algorithms, and DEcarbonisation of Cities and Regions with Renewable GAses. She leads the Cantonal Clean Energy INDEX Switzerland development.

Scientific contributions span household energy behavior, energy literacy, and policy instrument evaluation across peer-reviewed journals like Nature Energy and Energy Policy. She serves on the board of the Swiss Society for Acoustic Ecology and contributes to European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy.
