Annika Schuster

Annika Schuster has been a PhD Researcher at the University of Salzburg since October 2024. She holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Political Science from the University of Heidelberg (2022–2024) and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the same institution (2022). Her current research focuses on methods in political science.

Research Interests include populism, public attitudes toward climate change and climate policy, political participation, and electoral behavior. Her work combines socio-economic analyses with political psychology to understand voter decision-making and policy support.

Professional Experience includes research assistance at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences during her studies. She is based at Rudolfskai 42, Salzburg (Room 2042), with office hours by appointment.
