Annie Cattrell is a Reader in Fine Art and Research Group Leader in Fine Art and Photography at De Montfort University. She is also the Lead Artist for the New Museum Site at Cambridge University (2014–17) and has completed major commissions such as Resounding for Oxford Brookes University and Echo for the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail. Her work bridges art, science, and technology, collaborating with neuroscientists, engineers, and institutions like Oxford University and the Royal College of Art.
