Dr. Annette Schulze is a Lecturer at the Institute of Political Science, Faculty of Philosophy, Leibniz University Hannover. She serves as the coordinator for the specialized internship module in Politics, Political Economy and Social Studies, designs and teaches preparatory seminars, and provides extensive individual mentoring to students preparing for their teaching practicum.
Research & Teaching Focus: Her scholarly interests lie in the theories and history of ideas in political education, the didactics and methodology of political education, and the planning, supervision and reflection of school internships. She translates these research strands into hands-on courses such as Planning Politics Lessons I & II, Accompanying Course for the Practical Training I–III, and the Master’s Colloquium.
Support & Mentorship: Dr. Schulze runs an innovative digital support programme during semester breaks, offering small-group consultations, tutor sessions with former students, and individualized planning advice for the teacher-training internship. She also hosts an Alumni Legal Traineeship Event each semester to connect current students with graduates already working in schools.
