Annette Lamb, Ph.D., is an Emeritus Senior Lecturer in the Department of Library and Information Science at Indiana University Indianapolis, part of the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. She joined the faculty in 2002 with prior roles including professor of education, associate professor of educational technology, and school library media specialist.
Education: Ph.D. in Instructional Technology & Educational Computing (Iowa State University, 1987), M.S. in Instructional Media and Library/Media Management (1984), and B.S. in Sociology/Child Development/Education (1981).
Her research focuses on librarianship in formal and informal settings, digital collections, educational technology, and history. She has developed over 20 graduate courses and received the 2016 Board of Trustee Teaching Award. Notable work includes a 2016 National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant promoting intergenerational dialogue on cultural heritage in rural Utah.
