Anneliene Jonker is an Assistant Professor at the Health Technology & Services Research (HTSR) group within the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (BMS) at the University of Twente. Her work focuses on accelerating therapies for rare diseases through interdisciplinary research at the intersection of policy sciences, regulatory sciences, and therapeutic innovation. She leads global initiatives in the International Rare Diseases Research Consortium (IRDiRC) as Vice Chair of the Therapies Scientific Committee and is actively involved in patient advocacy as Scientific Director of Duchenne Parent Project.
