Dr. AnneMarie Brosnan is a Lecturer in the History of Education at Mary Immaculate College (MIC), Ireland. Her work focuses on 19th-century US southern education, particularly African American educational experiences during the Civil War and Reconstruction periods. She holds a BEd and PhD from MIC.
