Dr. Anne van Loon is an Associate Professor in Drought Risk at the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) within the Faculty of Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She specializes in interdisciplinary drought and flood risk science, focusing on hydrological processes, human-water interactions, and climate adaptation. Her work integrates quantitative and qualitative methods, including modeling, workshops, and participatory approaches.
