Dr. Anne de Hingh is an Assistant Professor of Internet Law at the Faculty of Law, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, affiliated with the Kooijmans Institute and the Transnational Legal Studies department. She holds a PhD in Archaeology from Leiden University (2000) and a law degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2014). Her research focuses on the intersections of law, technology, and digital ethics, particularly in cybercrime, data protection, and AI applications. She participates in the 'Boundaries of Law' and 'Law and Technology' research programs.
