Anne Prouteau is a Lecturer in French Literature at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Angers (UCO Angers). She holds a Doctorate in French Literature from the University of Nantes (2006) and serves as Academic Director of the Department of Modern Literature and General Delegate for Cultural Life. Her research focuses on Albert Camus, contemporary literature, and literary theory.
Her key roles include leadership positions in academic administration and scholarly societies. She is President of the Society for Camusian Studies and editor of the journal Présence d'Albert Camus.
