Dr. Anne-Maïmiti DULAURENT is an Associate Professor in Animal Ecology and Agroecology at UniLaSalle, located on the Beauvais Campus. She holds a PhD in Evolutionary, Functional, and Community Ecology from the University of Bordeaux (2010) and an Agricultural Engineering degree from ENITA Bordeaux (2006). Her research focuses on plant-animal functional diversity relationships, soil biodiversity impacts of agricultural practices (e.g., conservation agriculture), and agroecological solutions for sustainable farming systems.
Teaching Roles:
- Responsible for the 4th-year Agroecology, Soils, Waters, and Territories course in the Agronomy & Agroindustry Engineering program.
- Teaches Ecology, Agroecology, Descriptive/Statistical Analysis, and Entomology.
Research Activities:
- Investigates how agroecological practices influence soil fauna (earthworms, Collembola) and ecosystem functioning.
- Studies urbanization effects on herbivory patterns in European oak species.
- Explores biochar/compost mixtures' potential for soil carbon sequestration and fertilizer substitution.
Collaborations:
- Member of the AGHYLE Unit (Agroecology, Hydrogeochemistry, Environments & Resources).
- Partnerships with regional agricultural bodies like Chambre d'Agriculture de l'Oise and industry partners such as Dupont de Nemours.
Key Research Themes:
- Soil invertebrate traits for ecosystem restoration.
- Latitudinal gradients in avian insectivory and climate-driven pest dynamics.
- Citizen science initiatives like the Oak Bodyguard Project to engage communities in ecological monitoring.
