Anne-Marie Chang is an Associate Professor at the Biobehavioral Health Department, Penn State. Her research focuses on sleep physiology, circadian rhythms, genomics, cardio-metabolic health, and cognitive function, with particular emphasis on environmental effects on sleep patterns.

Her work includes epidemiological studies, intervention field studies, and laboratory experiments on sleep restriction/extension effects. Recent publications examine social jetlag, screen time impact, and genetic variants affecting circadian biology.
2023-2024 studies highlight adolescent sleep patterns, including sleep-mood relationships and screen time guidelines. Collaborative work spans public health, neuroscience, and clinical chronobiology.
