Anne-Maree Keenan is a Professor of Applied Health at the School of Healthcare, University of Leeds, and serves as Pro-Dean for Research and Innovation in the Faculty of Medicine and Health. She leads academic capacity development for the NIHR Leeds Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and acts as Associate Dean for the NIHR Academy. Her work spans strategic funding oversight of £40M institutional awards and £9M personal grants.

Research Focus: Multi-disciplinary approaches to improving musculoskeletal health, particularly midfoot osteoarthritis, with expertise in randomized controlled trials, structural equation modelling, and qualitative methodologies. Collaborates across the School of Healthcare, School of Medicine, and Leeds BRC.
Leadership & Recognition: Co-founded the 700-member Leeds Female Leaders Network, contributed to Athena SWAN Gold awards, and recipient of an OBE for services to podiatry.
