Anne-Laure Beaussier

Anne-Laure Beaussier is a CNRS Researcher affiliated with the Centre for the Sociology of Organisations (CSO) at Sciences Po, Paris. She also contributes to the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP) and the Department of Political Science.

Her research focuses on comparative health policy (Europe/USA), risk regulation, and socio-ecological transitions. She examines institutional responses to healthcare quality, environmental risks, and policy transfers across jurisdictions, using qualitative methods and over 150 elite interviews.

Recent publications analyze EU crisis management mechanisms, socio-ecological risk frameworks, and healthcare payment models. Her work is funded by the ESRC and ANR, with a focus on cross-national comparative analysis. She teaches courses on European politics, risk regulation, and healthcare systems at institutions including Versailles Saint Quentin, Montpellier, and King's College London.

Beaussier contributes to the CRISIS Lab, which studies systemic crises, and participates in research groups on Public Policy and Transformations of the State, Governance and Economic Organisations, and Knowledge, Science and Expertise. Her methodological approach emphasizes comparative analysis across France, UK, USA, and Germany.
