Dr. Anne Elizabeth Hill is a Professor at the School of Engineering & Physical Sciences and the Institute of Biological Chemistry, Biophysics and Bioengineering at Heriot-Watt University. Her research focuses on microbiological aspects of distilled spirits production, including fermentation, distillery microflora, and spirit maturation authenticity. She has collaborated with Edinburgh Gin, Port of Leith Distillery, and Diageo through Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.
